BUAO releases BUCET Results 2020; ChE Successful applicants in Highlight

The BU Admissions Office releases the BUCET Results for Incoming First Year Students this First Semester, School Year 2020-21.  Successful examinees can access the results via the BUAO Facebook post (https://web.facebook.com/BU-Admissions-Office-495736464171842/) or elsewhere (https://www.batasph.com/2020/06/Bicol%20University-College-Entrance-Test-BUCET-Result-2020-List-of-Qualified-and-Waitlisted.html). Out these passers, 105 successfully made it the BSChE Program, with Ms. Jamielle Liane dela Cruz Arca of Naga Hope Christian School topping the list, both for BSChE program and the BUCET, with rating of 96.0115. Based on unofficial results, three (3) BSChE successful applicants made it to Top Ten, with Ms. Arca as Top 1, Ms. Raquel Alonzo Moran of Masbate Comprehensive National High School as Top 4, and Ms. Kristelle Jane Vera Cataylo of Philippine Science High School Bicol Region Campus as Top 8.

Majority of the ChE passers are from Albay (39%), followed by Camarines Sur (26.7%), Sorsogon (15.2%), Camarines Norte (12.4%) and Masbate (4.8%). There are also one (1) each from Catanduanes and from Manila. Top Schools include Naga City Science High School (11 passers), Tabaco National High School (8 passers), Legazpi City Science High School (7 passers), Ateneo de Naga University, Bicol Regional Science High School and University of Santo Tomas Legaspi (each with 6 passers) and Vinzons Piloty School, with 5 passers.
