Departmental Administrative Office

​

This Office oversees the functions of the Department and its constituent offices and laboratories. Headed by the Department Chair, the powers, duties and functions of this Office are:

​

  1. Supervise the functions of the Department and its attached offices, students and publications; 

  2. Implement policies, guidelines, actions, and other matters pertaining to the mandate of the University's functions;

  3. Recommend approval of all activities and student affairs, researches, and extension activities/proposals;

  4. Request for any purchase, repair, or any action pertaining to physical facilities and laboratories;

  5. Review syllabi, TOS, instructional materials, etc. and faculty performances;

  6. Facilitate the Department-Parents relations;

  7. Consolidate, review, recommend and/or approve all departmental plans and plans of each attached offices;

  8. Organize meetings and its head shall act as Presiding Officer;

  9. Hear and decide inter-departmental disputes and students' complaints;

  10. Prepare necessary documents for Accreditation for Area I (Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives), Area II (Faculty),  Area VII (Library), and Area X (Administration).
