Office of the ChE Instruction and Research

​

This Office oversees the Instruction and Research functions of the Department. The Department Chair shall appoint its Head. The powers, duties and functions of this Office are:

 

  1. Evaluate syllabi, curriculum and learning materials;

  2. Make comparative studies and bench-marking of the curriculum and prepare proposals out of these studies;

  3. Generate statistical data of the students and their performances;

  4. Create Research data base and identify possible research tracks;

  5. Formulate research and instruction policies of the Department;

  6. Coordinate with the OChEECLEA with possible external research linkages and collaboration;

  7. Establish conformity to CMO, Washington Accord, OBE, and other instruments and graph its implication, implementation, and/or conformity of the present curriculum/s

  8. Prepare necessary documents for Accreditation for Area III (Curriculum and Instruction) and Area V (Research).
