Results for the Pre-Board Examinations for 1st Years for 1st Sem SY 2019-20

The BU Chemical Engineering Department hereby announces the results of the Pre-Board Examinations for the First Year Students given last December 14,  2019. The exam was administered for students to have a grasp of Licensure Examinations and to check whether they have acquired the necessary competencies required of a first year student finishing a semester. The exam was given for six hours, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The coverage of the exam are Physical and Chemical Principles (50%),which include General Chemistry, Chemistry for Engineers, and Introduction to Chemical Engineering, and General Engineering (50%), which include basic engineering mathematics (Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytic Geometry and Solid Mensuration), and Differential Calculus.

These are the top scorers for the Exam:
The average of the PCP is 33.1% while that of the GE is 37.2%, with overall average of 35.1%. Top scorers for the PCP and GE are as follows:
Block A has an overall average of 35.5%, Block B  and C have overall average of 36.7% and 33.5%, respectively. For PCP, Block A, B and C has averages of 34.1%, 34.1%, and 31.4%, respectively, while for GE, each of the block has averages of 37.0%, 39.3% and 33.5% , respectively.

The Pre-board Examinations has a point credit for each of the major subjects of Chemical Engineering. Congratulations to the Top Scorers!
