Statistics for Incoming BS ChE First Year Qualifiers for SY 2019-2020

The BU Office of Admissions releases the BUCET Results for Incoming Freshmen for SY 2019-2020. There are ninety Senior High Schools graduating student who qualify for the BS ChE Program, with 30 applicants are Waitlisted, with Mr. Simon Paul Salvatori C. Altar topping the list, for both the BSChE and the BUCET. There are five Qualifiers for the course make it to top ten:
Among the Qualified in BSChE program, 41.1% are from Albay, 31.1% are from Camarines Sur, 15.6% are from Sorsogon, 8% are from Camarines Norte and 3% are from Masbate. Tabaco National High School and Ateneo de Naga got the highest number of passers (11), followed by Philippine Science High School (10), Naga Science High School (9), Legazpi City Science High School (5) and Bicol Regional Science High School and Sorsogon National High School (4). Most Qualifiers are from Public National High Schools (37.7%), followed by Science High Schools (34.4%), University High Schools (25.6%) and Private High Schools (2.2%). Majority of qualifiers are male (56.7%). The BS Chemical Engineering program is still among the highest quota courses, with cut-off score of 92.1740.
